Calf-caused crash on Highway 21 near Guernsey damages vehicles

A stray calf on Highway 21 south of Guernsey sparked a chain reaction damaging James D. McWilliams Cedar vehicle and Rev. James Seeber’s Volkswagon, with about $703 and $900 in damage. The Ford driver was injured and unlit when hit by Seeber’s Deep River car. State Patrolman Kinseth filed the report. Seeber from Deep River involved. Jan. 18.

Marine Wogen Completes Aviation Maint School

Marine Private First Class John P. Wogen, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Wogen of 3220 Iowa Ave SE, Memphis, completed the Aviation Maintenance Administration course at the Naval Air Technical Training Center in Memphis Tennessee. The six week program trained personnel in aviation maintenance administration with instruction in typing publications aircraft maintenance systems and aircraft accounting and operations. He previously completed the two week Aviation Familiarization School at the center.
