Stories cited workers at 21 a week, only available to those in higher pay brackets, with a GM Local 674 employee rejected after seeking work via U S Employment Service and BUC benefits. Three choices faced workers: abandon seniority, lie about willingness to stay, or idle without benefits until reemployed. Local 674 leaders plan a mass meeting as GM strike vote looms.
