ACWA Wins Macgregor After Union Election

The Cincinnati Joint Board Amalgamated Cloth ing Workers announced the bargaining rights win at Mac Gregor Golf division of Sports Products Inc. Henry Seibert will lead negotiations. Of 146 eligible voters, 92 voted for the union, 34 against, 2 void. Officer elections to follow within two weeks.

Council Rejects Utility Purchase

Five members of the City Council refused even a study of city ownership of the Cincinnati Gas and Electric Co. as a solution to the citys financial needs. The motion by Councilman Albert D. Cash failed with only Rollin Everett Edward N. Waldo Vogel and Gordon Scherer in support.
