Morning kisses boost husband longevity and earnings study
A West German medical magazine cites life insurance research showing husbands who kiss their wives each morning can expect a median five year longer life, higher earnings by 20 to 35 percent, fewer sick days by up to 50 percent, and significantly fewer car accidents compared with husbands who do not kiss.
Outdoor workers urged to guard against skin cancer
Dr. Murray S. Jaffe of the American Cancer Society warns that excessive sun exposure endangers outdoor workers, with 105000 new skin cancer cases forecast for 1968 and about 5000 deaths. He promotes protection, early detection, and regular physical exams to catch changes in moles or warts.
