Dayton machinist J Ee Ardinger pursued his estranged wife to L C Randall's home in Columbus Ohio. Ardinger broke in and attacked Randall who used an Indian club. Ardinger was wounded and later shot himself as police intervened. Randall and Mrs Randall were injured by shattered glass.

Ironton, Oct. 30 Nelson Cox a pioneer of fruit growing in Southern Ohio and owner of the region’s largest fruit farm died this morning of cancer at age 84. The long time Ohio Valley agriculturist was renowned for his work in orchard development. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Cox family.
White Plains Westchester County grand jury hands up second degree manslaughter indictments against John Carroll Lathrop and John F Quimby and Georgiana Quimby for death of Esther Quimby seven. Presentment called flagrant health law violation and urged quarantines and enforcement by health boards. Indicted trio to be arrested and arraigned before County Judge Platt with bail set for trial.
