George H. Wood of Dayton is named to the ten member Board of Managers of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers. The House Military Affairs Committee, with Rep Gard of Hamilton Ohio on the panel, has reported a joint resolution to confer the honor and it is to pass the House tomorrow.
The body of Senor Don P. Ezequiel Rojas minister of Venezuela who died of heart disease in Atlantic City will be brought to Washington by State Department car to lie in state at the Venezuelan Legation until Tuesday. Funeral services are set for St Matthew's Church then the body will go to Hampton Roads on the Presidential yacht Sylph and be taken to La Guaira.
Frederick D. Whisler, uncle of Catherine Winters of Missoula, arrives in Newcastle Indiana for talks with Prosecutor Myers. A new East detective may join the case and is expected to meet Whisler tonight. The conspiracy charge against Dr and Mrs Winters and Cooper is set for July 10.
