Tragic State Retirement Farm Death Ends Holz Life
Gottlieb Holz 74 of 2635 Observatory road hanged himself on his son Edward Holzs farm near Springfield pike north of Sharon road after a long illness and previous failed attempt. He sat under a cherry tree and tied a rope to a limb then pressed away his chair as life ended. He had been irritable for over a year and was under watch by his sons. Survived by his widow Minnie and four sons Theodore Arthur and two others in Ohio. Dr. O E Cress Assistant Coroner attended.
