Cyclone devastates New Richmond leaving many dead
A violent cyclone struck New Richmond Wisconsin causing complete destruction of the business district and hotel. Rescue effort saved owner Charles McKenney his wife and child, with others severely injured or killed. Fire followed the cyclone and major damage is estimated in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. A Minneapolis dispatch reports at least 200 killed in the disaster.

A cyclone and cloudburst east of Hudson Wisconsin on June 12 damaged farms barns and outbuildings along its path. Fifteen feet of Omaha track washed out west of North Wisconsin Junction and debris filled tracks eastward.
