Brewers Reformers Hinted At Prewar Convention

The fiftieth annual brewers convention opened with Hoster stating brewers may align with true temperance reformers. Representative Boutell urged temperance in all things as Editor Hester praised brewing as a promoter of temperance and cited license as regulation. He predicted beer sales could reach 60 million barrels before the next convention and 100 million by 1920.
