Aviator's Skeleton Found in Old Battle Field
AMIENS France January 15 Remains of a German airplane and the skeleton of its pilot were found in the forest of St Pierre Vaast near the battlefield where a French plane was discovered earlier this month The French plane in debris contained two skeletons and has been identified as belonging to the 106 Esquadrille Two machines from that unit collided while attacking a German plane on September 24 1915 and plunged into the woods

Columbus Jan 15 Governor Donahey and legislative leaders reached agreement on emergency relief for municipalities and school districts. A special tax levy not to exceed three bills for current operating expenses could be levied by petition of a majority of those voting at the last election. Petitions will be circulated under County Election Boards direction. The levy will be placed on the tax duplicate for June collection after officials determine the annual operating needs. The Ohio State Tax Association deferred a definite plan, referring advisory recommendations to a new committee to devise a relief system.
