Newark Colorado December 10 George Spees 22 a grocer and son of Lewis Spees shot and killed himself last night after hiding in the rear of the First Presbyterian Church following a failed romance with Belle Rheirick a young photographer He waited for rescuers to search then fired a fatal shot, dying at the scene.

Dr L M Beckes Indiana health officer ordered coroner Held to travel to Monroe City to hold an inquest into the death of two year old Karl Wilson who died after two weeks illness without medical care and was treated by Christian Scientists. Prosecution will begin tomorrow.
