Farmington Boy Wins State Fair Trip For Potatoes
Lawrence Nassett of Farmington was named Teton county winner of a state fair prize trip to Helena for the best and most productive potato crop on one eighth acre. Nassett yielded 2360 pounds total, 2220 market potatoes and 140 culls, with twelve show potatoes judged first. County Agriculturist W S Murdock notes eleven finalists started, many dropped out due to drought, and praises persistent boys and girls.

Tractor accident claims Mrs. Ernest Spets in Valier
Near Valier on September 18 Mrs. Ernest Spets wife of a local farmer was killed when the tractor she rode with her husband ran over her after slipping from the engine. She died en route to Walter after the wheel passed over her. She leaves a three year old son and a husband.
