Four city teams played Sunday with the Scouts and Dads opening the day. The All-Stars beat the Dads 15 to 4 in the championship nine-inning game after earlier rounds where the Bulldogs and Stars battled to a close finish. Ace Leary and Hanusa led the Stars while Gus Thompson and Depner stood out for the Dads. Managers praised the event as a success with plans for next year.

New Elk Rules Do Not Change Teton County Open Season
Montana fish and game commission announced supplementary elk hunting rules not altering the Teton county open season from October 15 to December 1. A temporary preserve near Yellowstone park in Park county will ban hunting Mondays Wednesdays and Tuesdays from October 15 1983 to January 10 1934 to allow elk to drift from the park. Deer season closed in Prairie and Custer counties at the request of local rod and gun clubs and legislative members.

Five Improvement Projects Listed on Teton Forest Dist
Five improvement projects in the Teton district of the Lewis and Clark national forest will start soon, announced by Supervisor W. B. Willey. The work will be funded by a large congressional public works appropriation. Projects include an administrative cabin on Cabin Creek, an airplane landing field, discing and re-seeding 300 acres on Biggs Creek Flat, a glass lookout on Mount Wright, and two range fences on the Teton river forks.

Brother of local carpenter dies in Nebraska accident
D. H. Moulton received a telegram last Friday forenoon informing him that his brother had been accidentally shot and killed at West Point Nebraska. The message gave no further details and the Moultons left that afternoon by auto for the scene.
