Babb Tours Montana Milk River Project Progress
Cyrus C. Babb of the U S reclamation service said in Great Falls he will inspect the Milk River irrigation project at Havre and expects construction to start next spring after adjudication of water rights. He noted survey work is nearly done and towns along the line will rapidly grow with a fertile region developing. He also cited Sun River project surveys are nearly complete and canal construction should begin next year.

High School Enrollment Rises By One To 33

Wreck at Midvale on the Great Northern line
A serious wreck occurred on the Great Northern at Midvale when an eastbound freight on the siding met two sections of a westbound train. After the switch opened the second section collided head on with the tram on the siding. Both locomotives damaged and cars wrecked. Crews escaped by jumping. Switch misplacement under investigation.
