County Commissioners Hold Long Session in 1935
The Board of County Commissioners met in regular session on October 7 1935 with Chairman Algon Udin and members J A Baart and N W Edwards. They approved minutes, discussed tubercular tests for county high school students, and extended Ms Leffingwell’s salary and time to October 15 with future summer work planned. They reviewed desert land taxation, reclassifications, and noted several appointments, leases, office setups, and claims. Adjournments followed daily sessions through October 10 with numerous warrants approved and property sales authorized.
