Deaths from influenza and pneumonia claim Clarence Hayward
Clarence Harold Hayward aged 21 died at Chateau hospital Sunday morning from Spanish influenza followed by pneumonia. He had been ill about a week and came from Collinson to the hospital Friday. Born September 8 1947 in Thompsonville Michigan he moved to Montana years ago. He is mourned by his father Z Hayward and three sisters Mrs Earl Yeager Chateau Zella and Thelma Hayward.

William Odenwald 34 Dies of Flu and Pneumonia
William Odenwald of Bynum died at Chateau hospital Sunday afternoon from Spanish influenza followed by pneumonia. He suffered a severe attack of appendicitis during illness. He was ill at Bynum and brought to the hospital with little hope of recovery. He was the son of Adrian Odenwald of Moore and a nephew of Jacob Odenwald of this city. Survived by his parents four sisters and two brothers. The remains were shipped to Moore for interment.
