Turkeys Sought for Thanksgiving Market in Teton County
The Teton County Shipping association seeks residents to pool turkeys for the Thanksgiving market. Participants should submit a card to the county agent stating the quantity they wish to market after ensuring their birds grade prime. H J Moon of Pendray is a licensed turkey grader for the county and Cascade county. Recreational council will meet on Nov 6 with Farmington leaders. A one act play is planned for Nov 13 staged by Liberty Center leaders. 4 H representatives from 28 clubs plan a fall meeting Oct 31 at the county courthouse with Miss Pauline Bunting leading home economics and Fred Willson and Claude Windecker directing agriculture. Funeral Services Held Saturday for T A Bates
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Roberts funeral home for Theo A Buck Bates who died Wednesday at Chateau hospital from a brain infection. Rev Mrs Lutz of Long Beach conducted the service. The burial was in Chateau cemetery. Bates, born February 19 1905 in Wisconsin, moved to Collins two years ago and married Thelma England on December 28 1935. He leaves a widow an infant daughter a father a sister and two brothers.
