Ron’s Beauty Shop Opens at New Choteau Location
Ron Brumberger announced the relocation of Ron’s Beauty Shop to Main Street in Choteau next to the steakhouse. The remodeled facility features new furnishings a work area and a ladies powder room with plans for a rear lounge a fireplace and carpeting. Remodeling started about two months ago and the shop opened this week.

Possession charges filed against two Conrad youths
Charges of possession of beer were filed against Jackie Miller and Keith Malley, passengers in a Conrad area car involved in a fatal crash on August 22 five miles north of Dutton. Miller must appear in Chateau justice court by Wednesday. Malley has left the state with the armed services. The driver, 16-year-old Robert Strahan, was cited for reckless driving and to be handled in juvenile court. Victims were Gertrude Roskie of Bozeman and Gilbert Aakre of Conrad.

Auto Crash Kills Three Men Near Lincoln
Early Sunday on State Highway 20 about 30 miles northeast of Lincoln a car carrying Dutton Leslie Francis Hodgson 25 Brady and Bennett R Olson 34 Brady left the road after failing to navigate a curve near the Dearborn River bridge. The vehicle, traveling too fast, flew 160 feet total and all three occupants were thrown from the car. Olson and Hodgson were killed and Dutton died later. Jerry C Zimbleman 26 Brady was injured in serious condition at a Great Falls hospital.

Michelbach Final Rites Set Saturday
Funeral services for J. F. Michelbach 82 former Teton county resident will be held Saturday Oct 20 at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home in Spokane. He died in a Spokane hospital Monday born in England came to Teton county in 1918 lived in Bynum Fairfield and Great Falls before moving to Oregon in 1938. His wife died Jan 19 1964. He had been living with a daughter Mrs F J Guskin Spokane for the past two months. Survivors include four daughters Mrs Vern Hickman Clarkston Wash Mrs D0 Moulton Chateau Mrs R Jones Lewiston Idaho Mrs C G Kreis Lodi Calif two sisters in Fleetwood England and several grandchildren.

Co Bank deposits show a slight increase at Citizens State Bank over 1964. Manager Robert Gronberg reported total deposits at the end of the quarter ending Oct 13 were 3,419,269, up 164,181 from 1964, citing more Chateau area residents. Loans reached 1,055,816 versus 830,712 in 1964.

Bird Season Opens Sunday in Teton County
The Montana Fish and Game Commission opens pheasant Hungarian and chukar partridge hunting in Teton County this Sunday at noon. Daily bag limits are three pheasants and six Hungarian plus chukar partridges with a 12 total possession, and hunting may use a shotgun up to 10 gauge or a long bow and arrow with birds kept field dressed with feet and one wing attached.Area closures include state game preserves and National Wildlife Refuges though tribal lands may be closed. hunters should check with refuge managers or tribal offices for current restrictions.

The ASCS county office asks farmers receiving program payments to provide their social security numbers. Rex Manuel, chairman, says a form titled Request for Identifying Number Farmer has been mailed with a postage prepaid envelope. Beginning Jan 1 1966, these numbers will be entered on payment drafts and used by the Agriculture Department to report payments to the IRS. Any questions should be directed to the ASC county committee.

Firemen Stop Auto Blaze At McDonell Residence
Firefighters answered an alarm around 7 p.m. Saturday at the McDonell home to extinguish a fire in their 1959 Plymouth station wagon. Wiring and shocks were damaged but the blaze was contained before breaking through the fire wall. The cause was believed to be a short circuit.

4-H Banquet Highlights Decade of Awards in Field Clubs
The 4-H banquet featured about 320 attendees with 75 awards presented by Mike Goodwin. 4-H leaders and junior leaders planned the program, served buffet meals, and music came from Becky of Greenfield Go Getters with piano and gongs by Betty Evans and Patsy Stewart.
