Gunther, a 30 year law practitioner and 16 year county attorney, resident of Teton County for 27 years, served two years in the U S Marines during World War I. He has held one term as district court clerk and faces no opposition in the upcoming election.
Farmer Rancher Standish served in the 29th and 30th state legislature sessions and chaired the House Agriculture committee in the previous session.
The Montana district court in Teton County orders a public hearing on November 12 1948 to determine if the administratrix may execute a three year lease of extensive real estate owned by the estate of Sidney L Yeager. The lease covers multiple sections in townships 23 24 N ranges 6 7 W and includes land now under state and federal leases. A copy of Exhibit A is attached and publication in the Choteau Acantha is required for two weeks before November 12 1948.
Ray and Clyde Robinson MSC students at Bozeman spent last weekend at home with Mr and Mrs A C Robinson. Mr and Mrs Bob Kropp visited J H Robinsons ranch home last Thursday. The Birthday club met with Mrs Eunice Robinson last Thursday afternoon. Hostesses were Mrs Freca Johnson and Mrs Fern Torgerson who served ice cream and cake. The afternoon was spent sewing. Mr and Mrs H H Wuest and Mr and Mrs Otto Schaefer attended the Lutheran dinner and bazaar at Chateau last Saturday. Mr and Mrs J H Robinson and Mr and Mrs A R Mitchell visited home folks last weekend.
