Lowry Larson Wins Big at Great Falls 4H Club Fair
Lowry Larson of Pendroy earned 617.50 from three baby beef steers at the 14th annual 4H district club fair in Great Falls. He won first and third in baby beef with steers sold to Great Falls Meat Co, plus an eighth with a bid from Lee Ford. Other Teton county youths, including Howard Riphenberg, James Barce, and James Graves, also placed in the event where 31 steers were sold.

A Cub Pack was organized at a parents meeting in the public school Monday evening with John Hentges elected chairman of the parent committee and Jim Broderick named cubmaster. Den chiefs Willard Paulus Lynn Baker Warren Adams and Jack Core were appointed. First den meetings set for October 25 and November 21 with details at each home. Membership ages 9 to 11, fees: 50 cents yearly dues for cubs and $1 registration for leaders.

At the October meeting the county board authorized admitting Mrs. Samuel Agee of Farmington to the Galen state tuberculosis sanitarium at county expense with Mr. Agee to reimburse.
