Four-H Club Fair Showcased 400 Exhibits at Chateau Pavilion
Teton county's first 4-H club fair drew about 100 exhibitors from 13 of 14 clubs. Exhibits filled the American Legion pavilion with clothing, canning, cooking, sewing, and livestock displays. Results announced for baby beef, dairy cattle, foods, canning, and 1st year and 2nd year clothing categories amid a countywide lunch served by Chateau Lions.

Fire destroys ranch home of Mrs. Margaret Davis near Bole
A two story ranch home owned by Mrs. Margaret Davis, located two miles south of Bole, burned Tuesday evening around 4 30. The fire started in the front part of the upstairs and the cause remains unknown. Neighbors saved most downstairs furniture and nearby structures, and the community offers sympathy to the Davis family.

Short services were held at Roberts Funeral home in Chateau with Rev. E R Kaemmer in charge. The body shipped to Winnebago Minnesota. Lathrop born May 10 1863 in Minnesota. He came to Teton county 16 years ago from Sac Center.
