Gas Strike Reported at Dutton Townsite Well
A natural gas flow was struck at noon Monday in the center of Dutton while a water-well was being drilled. A 16 inch flame issued from a pipe eight inches in diameter, the 210 foot well showing potential for oil or stronger gas as it deepens.
