The Teton Memorial Hospital Board purchased nearly $2,000 in new laboratory equipment for the Choteau hospital. The apparatus enables in house blood tests formerly sent to external labs and includes a new sidewalk along the building. Future plans include a sun room. fund drive proceeds support upkeep and improvements. donations can be sent to Dr. J. R. Crabtree or Mrs. Janet Wedum.

CSU Mobile Lab To Test Choteau School Children
A CSU mobile laboratory will arrive in Choteau on Monday October 23 to test speech and hearing of about 4 children from local elementary schools as part of a national survey. The van designed for compact testing has three rooms and $25 000 in equipment. Tests take about 20 minutes per child and are conducted by Gail Brotherhood Dianne Oetting and James Garzelloni under coordinator Mary Ann Raney.

General Mills plans warehouse and elevator move to Choteau
General Mills Elevator Co will move the Bynum 26x34 foot elevator to Choteau and construct a 25x30 foot single story warehouse along the railroad tracks. The project includes fertilizer storage with a non automatic sprinkler system for fire protection and a 700 ton capacity. completion requires approvals from state fire marshal and engineers before use. The council also approved several building permits and sent Bob Erickson to Michigan to pick up a new garbage truck. Applications opened for a Choteau police officer position.
