Dick Fabrick urged Montana to develop water rights on Columbia and Missouri River systems to avoid downstream claims. He cited a 1 million acre foot appropriation and a dam above Bismarck as examples of scarce water stakes as population grows. He noted agriculture dominates Montana income and that private and public efforts have built irrigation, urging conservancy districts and multi use projects to meet current needs. Blood Drawing Nets 52 Pints For Autumn Quota Shortfall
The Teton county blood drawing ended with 52 pints, 13 pints short of the 65 pint autumn quota. Mrs. Grant Curtis, chairman, said future drawings in 1965-66 could push the chapter over its yearly goal and urged others to donate. New gallon donors include Mrs. Fred Bremer and Carl Field. half-gallon donors are Dave Buchanan and Louis Clough. First time donors named include several residents of Chateau and New Rockford Colony.

Man Sought After Frontier Motel Robbery
A warrant is issued for a man who entered the Frontier Motel Sunday night around 10:30 p.m. and stole about 700 in cash and items from George R. Pollinger. Prosecutor Robert L. Woodahl said authorities also seek a juvenile accomplice in the case.

Funeral Rite Held For Earl J Terry In Choteau
Funeral services for Earl Jacob Terry were held Tuesday at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marlow Engberg officiating. Burial was in Choteau cemetery. Terry died October 9 at Teton Memorial Hospital after a yearlong illness. A resident of Choteau for 45 years he was a retired blacksmith. Survived by widow Eva Mary Roth Terry a son Harold Butte a daughter Dona May Wanby Menlo Calif and one grandchild. Pallbearers were Bill Anderson Carl Olson Jerry McDowell Gus Kade Ellard Enderson and Bill Smith.

Faltermeyer Final Rites Held for Anthony Faltermeyer
Final rites were held for Anthony Faltermeyer 79 at Banks Funeral Home with Rev. C Fred Crowe officiating. Burial followed in Choteau cemetery. He died Oct. 9 at Choteau hospital after two years illness. Pallbearers were Fred Meadows George Beaudeau Leigh Nett Jack Rogers Hilary Gollehon Gus Kade. Born 1886 in Hatzelsdorf Germany he came to the United States in 1903. He married Edna Middleton in 1921 in Choteau and moved there in 1925. A retired blacksmith and railroad employee, survivors include his widow one daughter Frances Hunt Black Eagle four brothers and sisters in Germany four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Hinmans Buy Choteau Drug in 1960 Ownership Change
Mr and Mrs Ron Hinman took over Choteau Drug Inc on Oct 1. Hinman viewed the Choteau firm in 1960 and bought it from Ted and Halvorson. Ted Halvorson owned the store since 1938, sold in 1957, then the Halvorsons opened a gift shop which closed in 1960 before handing the drug store to the Hinmans. Hinman, a 1959 University of Montana pharmacy graduate, has no drastic changes planned.
