State examiners T Love Ashton and W M Johnson conducted the regular annual audit of the Town of Dutton on August 29 1950 and submitted their findings to the mayor and council through State Examiner W A Brown.
Kenneth Harvey of Great Falls replaces A P Miller as manager of Monarch Lumber Co in town. Miller resigned but will stay in Dutton with Mrs Miller. Mrs Ed Jones of Fresno visits Great Falls and Nelsons. District President Mrs Jay Robinson of Chateau attends Legion auxiliary luncheon and meeting with several out of town guests.
A busy spell of local notices covers the auxiliary meeting set for Oct 17 at Arne Hofto home with Mrs Schabel assisting. Many residents relocate, visit relatives, or host events as W S C S dinners, church bazaars, and club demonstrations fill the calendar.
Mr and Mrs Stanley Joswiak of Great Falls visited Bert Farnsworth in Glasgow on Sunday. Mr and Mrs Carsten Holt are currently on a trip to Southern California.
