Goose season began last Saturday and runs to December 28. Geese may be hunted from 30 minutes before sunrise to noon daily, ducks from 30 minutes before sunrise to sunset. Punt Pass and Kick contest set for Saturday at high school
The annual Punt Pass and Kick event is scheduled for Saturday at 1 30 p m on the high school football field. Registrations close Friday for youths ages 8 through 13 at Chateau Ford Sales with a parent present. Funeral services were held for James LeDesky 22 of Rowan after his car left a highway nine miles from Lib by and plunged into the Kootenai river on Sept 13. His body was recovered 18 days later. He is survived by his wife Roxy a son his parents Mr and Mrs Wayne LeDesky and a brother Jere all of Ronan. Mr and Mrs Abe Breere and Mr and Mrs Larry Breere of Chateau attended the services in Ronan last Saturday.

Pastor Chosen For Jamboree Guest Speaker
Trinity Lutheran Church evangelism committee names Pastor Tom Damrow as guest speaker for the New Life Jamboree in Montana.
