Planting shelterbelt trees aids farm time and costs
Farmers and ranchers favor a mechanical tree planter to speed shelterbelt planting with little time loss during spring seeding. Last year 15 300 trees were sent into the county, with potential to double next year. Also notes ongoing cattle lice control via mid winter dipping or fall treatments for thoroughness and effectiveness.
