At noon Sunday the duck season opened with many hunters afield and reported strong kills around the Muddy Chateau Sportsmen's Club land. Weist sloughs Aga wam area and Farmington sloughs also yielded good shooting and Teton river reports reached Chateau. Ducks are plentiful this year and opening day sparked many duck dinners as gifts flowed to nonparticipants.

Defects included teeth 116 vision 43 hearing 1 nose and throat 107 skin 8 glands 4 enlarged thyroid 3 malnutrition 10. Ewe Lambs Held by Local Grower in Heavy Loss Australia
Local sheepman Earl Yeager says many in the area hold ewe lambs as the fall market nears. He notes Australia reports 10 million sheep perish in drought, likely lifting prices.
