At a Friday meeting in Dutton the community formed the Dutton Soil Conservation Association. Charles Proff named president. A Anderson from the federal service elected secretary. Don Moore named treasurer. Fred Willson chaired and E H Aicher explained the program and losses from erosion. Two projects underway in Power and Dutton areas include pond construction to catch livestock water.

Junior Play Bills Set for Thursday December 5
Two added features join three one act plays by the junior class at the high school presentation on Thursday evening December 5. A high school trio sings under Miss Mae Walton and the band selections under Irshal Davis. The plays include The Marriage Proposal The Valiant and The Happy Journey with settings nearly completed. Prices are 15 cents for grade students 25 cents for high school students and adults. Reserved seats on sale at Rexall drug store for an extra ten cents.

Mrs Ruth Kluth wife of Clifford Kluth and daughter of Mrs John Daley of this city died last Thursday at her home west of Fowl er about 14 miles north of Conrad The death followed anemia and a flu pneumonia illness She was born March 25 1898 in Madison Minnesota and lived in Teton county since age four She taught after normal training until her 1925 marriage to Mr Kluth Survived by husband three children Billy 9 Betty 7 Verna Jean 2 three brothers and three sisters Funeral held Monday at the Conrad Presbyterian Church with burial at Cho tea A large number attended from Conrad and vicinity Mrs Freeman Daley and Mrs Scanda traveled from Havre and Great Falls respectively This was the third death in the Daly family since Mr Daly died last March.

A January clean-up shipment will dispose of underfinished birds. Key dressing steps include withholding feed 18 to 24 hours, proper bleeding, thorough feather removal, and cooling to 36 degrees Fahrenheit without freezing. Federal grader H J Moon will assess grades. about 60 percent of price may be advanced with the rest paid in January.

A fireproof building will enclose the wash and grease racks at Tom's service station. Construction began Friday on a 36 by 25 foot concrete and fireproof structure. Next spring a modern auto hoist will be added and the old grease rack removed. The station, erected in 1929, is owned by H. F. Adams. Previous lessors included L. R. Sutton Ted Turner and T. J. Delno. For three years John L Chick Sulgrove has operated it with brother George in his employ.

Death of Richard Sturgeon Former Teton Citizen
Richard Sturgeon 76 died November 5 in Los Angeles California after a long illness. Born November 10 1859 in Hensall Ontario he worked 25 years as a depot agent for the Northern Pacific Railway and later lived in Claresholm Alberta before moving to Teton County in 1914 to ranch by Chateau. Survived by his wife and a daughter Mrs Frank Dageett with interment in San Gabriel cemetery Los Angeles.
