Ida D. Wilkie 81 died November 24 at Teton County Nursing Home. Funeral at Chateau United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Adams officiating. Born January 1 1888 Parker Prairie Minnesota she married Fred Wilkie in Rolla North Dakota in 1916 and retired to Chateau area in 1952. Survived by widower two sons Vern Great Falls Ray Buckingham Washington two daughters Lucille McMaster Great Falls Evaline Carpenter Rolla North Dakota one brother Wilhelm Janke Parker Prairie Minnesota 19 grandchildren six great grandchildren. Remaining open through November 30 are Glacier Toole Liberty Hill Pondera Teton Chouteau Lewis and Clark Cascade Judith Basin Fergus Silver Bow Jefferson Broadwater Meagher Wheatland Valley Beaverhead Madison Gallatin Park Sweet Grass Stillwater and Carbon. All sharptailed and sage grouse seasons are closed. Duck season in the Central Flyway ended November 5 while geese stay open through December 28. Choteau Girl Injured in Hunting Accident
Sherrol Armstrong ten year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Walt Armstrong of Choteau was shot in the left leg during a hunting party near Peeble's ranch ten miles northwest of Choteau. She underwent surgery Sunday night at Deaconess Hospital Great Falls and is in satisfactory condition.
