Schools Open House Marked Education Week in Chateau
Chateau schools held American Education Week open houses on Wednesday November 1 with 176 visitors at the grade school and 145 at the high school. Teachers met parents in each room to show daily student work as the public learned school needs and accomplishments. William Barr, 58, of Dutton and former Great Falls resident, died at a Great Falls hospital after a two week business trip to Los Angeles. Born December 12, 1895, in Gilby North Dakota, Barr had eight years with a Great Falls employer before moving to Dutton to run a garage.
