Richard Austad 17 of Fairfield died after falling about 100 feet while deer hunting with two brothers in the Willow Creek Gorge area 20 miles west of Augusta. The accident occurred near 8 am with the Erickson brothers aiding the rescue. Austad died at Teton Memorial Hospital. Funeral planned at St Paul Lutheran Church Fairfield.
