Funeral services were held for Ray M. Talifson 49 of Great Falls who died in a one car crash west of Lincoln on Nov 3. Military honors were given at Our Lady of Lourdes Church with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Talifson a nephew of Julia Monkman and cousin of Mildred Pihl Agnes Bradley Mabel Hayes and Joe Talifson of Chateau. Survivors include his widow Irene M. Talifson.

Plans for ARC private rest home near Chateau revealed
ARC Corp led by Russell Sewell and Art Tavary unveiled plans to build a private rest home in Cut Bank with space for about 60 patients at two potential sites east of Chateau. The project costs near a quarter million dollars and would create roughly 26 payrolls in Teton County.
