Draft to Induct Four Nine Men to Take Butte Physical Exam
Four were inducted this week and nine more named to take physical examinations as the draft accelerates amid worsening war conditions in the Far East. Three men will be inducted at Butte next Thursday: Marvin Bruce Nelson Chateau Raymond E DeBruycker Dutton and Norman Lavern Frantich Dutton. Kenneth Wymond Duncan Choteau will not enter service until semester end to complete school studies. Thirteen girls from the Choteau FHA chapter attended a future Homemakers of America district convention at Stanford last Saturday. Delegates nominated officers, and Connie Bernet of Helena spoke on her Kansas City trip. Ensign Hofte Serves Aboard USS Midway Mediterranean Cruise

In an off year election in Teton county 2,982 registered voters across 13 precincts cast ballots with 86 percent turnout reported as unofficial totals. Gor Don Monkman won county clerk recorder duties 1,596 to 1,343 over W Earl Hollar while Howard Hemay defeated Leo Murphy for county attorney 1,416 to 1,257.

CYO Hosts Youth Groups Scavenger Hunt Event
