Undaunted Bulldogs of Teton County high school upset heavily favored Centerville Miners 13 to 0 on their home field. Stormwind scored on a 40 yard run in the first half and Bleecker added a six yard TD late in the game, with the extra point making it 13 0. Centerville failed to cross the goal line despite several passes to Brutosky and strong drives. The win forces a rematch with St. Mary's sextet to decide the championship.

Mrs Stearns Gets Elk In Sun River Country Hunt
Mrs Frank Stearns fired the shot that ended an elk’s career during a hunt in upper Sun River country. She hunted unassisted with her husband and guests Mr and Mrs George Duvendack and C Q Davis. Duvendack, a forest ranger, killed a grizzly, while Stearns and Davis killed a deer. Frank Stearns fired twice at a grizzly but missed due to trees and brush.

Masonic Welfare Meeting Plans Friday Fellowship

Conrad Sack Dies in Oregon
Funeral services were held for Conrad Sack 80, longtime Montana rancher, who died suddenly in Portland. Born in Baden Germany on Christmas Day 1856, he immigrated around 1880, worked in coal mining, then ranching near Geyser and Belleview, later retiring to Great Falls and wintering in Portland. He is survived by relatives in Germany Pennsylvania and Montana.

Duck Season Closes Sunday At Four P. M Opposing Closing Dates Mentioned
The present duck hunting season will end Sunday at 4 P M with the opener having started October 9 for 30 days making November 7 the last day for ducks. Today is the final day of the five day male Chinese pheasant season. November 15 marks the last day for deer and goats in the county while elk season continues through December 1, meaning December 1 is still within the elk season.

Horse In Road Triggers Auto Collision Near Bynum
A horse darted onto a highway near the Kyle Jones ranch four miles north of Bynum causing a head on crash between two Ford autos owned by Bud Connole of Pendray and J. J. Pillings, a stock buyer from the Lethbridge and Cardston area. Neither driver was seriously hurt. Connole suffered a temporary head blow.

Car Rollover After Sudden Brake Near Bynum
B T Turner of Shelby applied brakes to stop when suitcases strapped to his car blew off in a gust. The car tipped into a ditch near Bynum, injuring Turner with a shoulder sprain and head bruise and Mrs Fannie Jones with a cut hand and facial bruises. Turner and party, en route to Helena, were treated at Chateau. The other two occupants were unhurt.

Great Falls Judge J G Jackson presided Monday as several Halloween related incidents were settled. Maurice Black Edwin Anderson and Kenneth Murray were fined for driving with liquor influence and other violations. Myles Standish a farmer eight miles east of Bole survived a pistol discharge that pierced his right side but left the abdominal cavity intact. County Attorney Charges Martin Depner With Desertion
Extradition papers for Martin Depner to Chateau were approved by Governor Ayers after authorities reported he was held in Ephrata Washington. Depner faces a felony charge of deserting his minor child alleged to be under 15 and needing care. He was released on bail pending arraignment by Judge Hattersley on October 12.
