Wiggerman Arrested in Shelby for Wheat Theft
Frank Wiggerman was arrested at the Rainbow hotel in Shelby on a Monday evening after a warrant issued Sunday by Justice J. G. Jackson. New Power School To Be Dedicated Saturday
The Power school complex, a combined high and grade school built last summer and fall, will be dedicated Saturday. Principal A B Guthrie will give the address and events run from 5 30 pm supper to 8 o 0 and the dedicatory program 8 00 to 9 30 followed by a dance in the new gymnasium. The one story building has four grade rooms three high school rooms a 60 by 40 gymnasium a 60 seat auditorium and modern facilities powered by steam heat electric light and plumbing. A 32000 bond issue financed construction led by O M Johnson Walter Giese and Y B Thompson with C W Cutz as clerk.

Year s Program of Road Work Practically Finished
The season s program of road work is nearly complete says County Surveyor Obert Peterson. About 20 miles of grading was done on the Power mail route and 10 miles east of Dutton. Additional grading occurred in Collins and Pendrey vicinities with power outfits and several team outfits aiding fills, couverts, and bridges. John Weaver used two teams near Fairfield and four teams worked at Power. Work paused Wednesday due to a storm, likely ending fall operations, with some equipment brought in that day.
