Reservoir site decision favors canal company extension to finish dam

On May 25 the register and receiver at Great Falls issued a decision in Krofft v Farmers Cooperative Canal Co sustaining the canal’s right to seek more time to complete the reservoir in township 25 north range 6 west. The decision notes delays from an injunction and condemnation proceedings, allowing a time extension and delaying any federal action to cancel the site. The letter to Krofft’s attorney cites a hearing held June 25 1918 and grants 15 days to file a motion for a new trial with 30 days to appeal.
