Chateau High School marks the 1955 commencement with speaker D J Reed urging graduates to “put yourself right” before facing life’s challenges. He warns against trying to change the world without personal integrity as atomic era fears loom. In Justice J M Sulgrove's court on May 21 Ray A J Wade of Calgary Alberta forfeited a 10 dollar bond for exceeding the night speed limit. Madlie S Anderson of Chateau forfeited 25 dollars for reckless driving causing an accident. May 26 Millie Dykeman of Great Falls forfeited 10 dollars for lacking a valid driver's license. In Justice William Irwin's court Paul Eugene Simpson of Moore Montana forfeited 10 dollars for careless driving and Ralph Kim Miller also of Moore forfeited 10 dollars for a similar charge. Both cases were charged by Patrolman Robert Blewett of Conrad.

Funeral services were conducted for Lynne Ellen Loftsgaarden 12 of Power at Zion Lutheran Church. Rev W C Fransmeier officiated. Lynne died Monday at a Great Falls hospital and was born June 9 1942 in Great Falls. Wheat Quota Referendum Set For June 25 in Montana
