Alice C. Cox reports on the 1928 senior class night with songs, history, prophecies, and a faculty take-off. Students performed dances and readings, including a class poem Musings by Cox, and honored teachers in a lively show that bid farewell to the year.
Normal training class back after doing real work
The training class returned last Friday after nine weeks of practice teaching at Diamond valley and Middleton schools. Teachers Miss Alta Dornbiaser Miss Lillian Dolalie Miss Mabel Tokerud taught at Diamond valley and Miss Dana Forseth Vedah Byler Thora Kregness and Helen Standish taught at Middleton. Miss Wadla Oberg accompanied the girls home.

Genoa Oil and Gas adds fifth Bannatyne well
Genoa No 4 reached producing sands in Bannatyne field last Saturday, yielding about 76 barrels daily. Oil rose rapidly to 80 feet in the casing after the sand was penetrated. Earlier wells by the same company include Hard Rock No 1 and three others. Hard Rock shows cavings delaying pumping, roughly 40 barrels daily. Only Elliott rig remains drilling in Bannatyne.
