Chateau Municipal Band to Open Second Street Concert Season
The Chateau Municipal band, directed by pro tem Co. O Edwards, will stage its second street concert of the 1938 season on Saturday evening May 21 at 7 30 from Main avenue at the Second street northwest intersection. Weather is the only anticipated hampering factor with community praise and music preferences welcome. The program includes Sousa marches, American Patrol, Onward Christian Soldiers, Golden Gate overture, Colorado concert march, and other pieces ending with Good Night Till We Meet Again.

Premiums for the 1939 wheat crop vary by county and coverage level, with 75 percent plans ranging from 1.3 to 2.5 bushels per acre and 50 percent plans from 0.4 to 1.4 bushels per acre.
