Family welcomes service members on furlough visits
Art Gruenhagen son of the late Steve Gruenhagen returned home on a four day furlough from Camp Claiborne Louisiana after about a year. He visited Chateau with his mother in law Mrs Rachel Edwards and other relatives. Mrs Edwards also received a photo of her grandson Private George Heafer a plane mechanic overseas three years. George as a boy helped his grandmother at Beaupre Cafe about fifteen years ago. Sgt Berger Owens also on furlough from Key Field Meridian Mississippi serves in the Army Air Forces.
