The event returns to its usual location after a conflict moved it to the Lutheran Parish Education building. Chairman Mrs. Grant Curtis notes this is the third and final drawing of the fiscal year, aiming for the 65 pint quota. last drive yielded 76 pints with 11 donated for Floyd Sibley of Chateau who had heart surgery. The organizer urges 76 pints again as blood is always needed.

Funeral Rites Slated Today For Holbrook
Funeral services for George E. Holbrook aged 92 will be held today at 2 p.m. at Banks Chapel in Chateau with Rev. Marlow Engberg officiating. Interment follows in Chateau Cemetery. pallbearers are John Wisse Alfred Talifson John O Keefe Harvey Dale Albert Lindseth and Alex Zier. Holbrook died Sunday in Teton Memorial Hospital after years of poor health. He was born March 4 1875 in Garfield Washington and moved to Teton county 40 years ago to farm and later worked as a stock buyer. He is survived by wife Edith and a large extended family including a son and several daughters and stepchildren, plus five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Choteau High School sent 24 musicians to the state music meet in Great Falls over the weekend. The Triple Trio and Boys Ensemble earned superior ratings while Nancy Larson soloist and the double octet received excellent marks. Eight Choteau students joined the all state choir.
