Mrs. W H Franklin died last Sunday forenoon at the ranch home northeast of Chateau after two months of heart trouble complication with dropsy. She had not been well since moving to Montana last winter after her marriage to Mr. Franklin. previously she lived in Iowa. No near relatives survive except a cousin in Indiana. Funeral Monday at the home conducted by Rev G H Heizer, burial in Farmington cemetery.

Trial Ends Quickly as Man Convicted in Lethbridge Case
Hodgskiss returns from Lethbridge where a weeklong trial concluded with a guilty verdict for receiving stolen property including a mare bearing Hodgskiss' brand. The judge imposed seven years in prison. Hodgskiss recovered his property and sold the mare to John Galbreath amid suspected rustling along the international boundary near Chouteau and Teton counties.

Adams moves to forest service post and Elizabeth post to close
J. E. Adams of Elizabeth moves his family to the Teton canyon as he joins the forest service. The Elizabeth post office, run by Mrs. Adams, will be abandoned. The Breed ing infant daughter, age a year and a half, died of croup after measles and was buried at Chateau cemetery with Rev Heizer officiating. The community sends condolences to the family.
