Death of Mrs. Au gusta LeFevre in Brookings South Dakota
Mrs. Au gusta LeFevre 52 formerly Mrs H T Cleary died after an operation in Brookings South Dakota. She was born May 10 1880 in Marshalltown Iowa and married H T Cleary in 1901. The couple moved to Montana in 1916 and later to Brookings, with survivors including husband T S LeFevre two daughters Louise and a deceased daughter, four grandchildren, and former husband H T Cleary. Funeral at Choteau Methodist Church conducted by Rev Kaemmer, pallbearers from Great Falls, burial in Choteau Cemetery. The Security Benefit association will handle the grave service.

George Richards owns rights to springs feeding water used for irrigation. about three acres will be cultivated this year with ground donated by owners. Union Banquet Marks Farm Cooperative Hope in 1932
Teton county Farmers Union members and guests gathered at the Chateau hotel for a noon banquet, replacing the cancelled fun feed. Wellenstein led remarks on fellowship and mutual aid, with a musical program and thanks to Emma Thompson. At the courthouse Manning urged support for the marketing act and cooperative reforms, and the union adopted resolutions including continuing the act and opposing salary cuts.

Miss Virginia Hansen of Teton county high school topped the Lions Club essay contest with the theme What Lions Clubs Can Do for the Community That Has not Already Been Done. Kathryn Walker took second place and a $5 prize was offered for first. The winning essay advances to the district contest including Montana and Alberta with a possible free trip to the Lions International convention in Los Angeles. The first three place winners will attend the club’s next meeting as guests.
