Following a protracted illness and heart trouble Asher Bright Morehead a Spanish American War veteran and scout for Theodore Roosevelt died Saturday night at Chateau hospital He was 66 and lived on a farm near Bynum Wyoming A Lancaster Missouri native he served in multiple military units including the 144th Tennessee infantry and the 13th infantry He married Mary Schwartz in 1910 and worked as a barber before ranching and guiding in the West His funeral was held at Bynum Catholic church with Legionnaires from Chateau Post No 6 giving military honors.
