Old Time Tailor and Father of 9 Children Dies
Ole Marius Nordhagen died at 3 a m Sunday at Chateau hospital after a long illness from heart disease and complications. Born January 20 1884 in Hedemarken Norway he came to the United States 34 years ago and farmed and worked as a tailor in Chateau and surrounding areas. He leaves his widow Johanna and nine children John 20 Ellen 19 Esther 18 Bertha 16 Harriet 15 Robert 14 Donald 13 Richard 9 Raymond 6 plus stepfather O J Nordhagen. Funeral services were held at 2 o clock this afternoon from the Methodist church.

4-H Spring Rally Set For Saturday in Teton County
The 4-H Spring rally will be at Chateau in the Teton county high school on Saturday April 9 with a 7 30 start. The program features numbers from every 4-H community in the county followed by a dance and games for those not dancing. Boy Scout troop 51 under Scoutmaster Wm. F. Olsen will compete in a rally at Augusta on Friday March 18. Gale Frost and Roy Haynes will be present. Members of the Teton F F A chapter have been working two weeks preparing for the district contest to be held at Conrad on March 26. They plan to enter all contests including livestock grain identification judging poultry judging egg grading shop work public speaking basketball horseshoe pitching and rifle shooting. Representatives will be chosen early next week after elimination contests. The boys show strong interest in judging and aim for a good showing.

Mayor C. W. Burns and Martin Rose attended a Great Falls gathering of old cow hands and punchers. Weaver to Open Men s Furnishings Store
W R Weaver announces a men s furnishing store to be opened in the room beside Club Cigar. The space will be overhauled and the opening is expected in several weeks. Weaver previously worked at Hirshberg Co drygoods for eight years and before that at a Chevrolet garage. House Warming For Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zgoda
A group of 30 guests attended a house warming Tuesday night at the Zgoda home on Main Avenue North. The couple received a carving set as a gift after sharing coffee and other refreshments, with cards singing and entertainment completing the evening. Farmington and Chateau residents joined the celebration at the newly completed, modern house.
