Alaska mining plans spark letter from Cantwell

Buroker, a former Teton county packer and forest service worker, describes mild winter, travel costs to Alaska, current claims and the prospect of leasing ground with a small camp of natives and whites, and notes mining season lasts about 100 days with potential for a grub stake and a profitable summer.
