Voters to decide on 36 000 gym fund and 35 000 high school bond
Electors in Chateau Montana will vote Saturday on a 36000 measure to finish the new high school gymnasium and the grade district will ballot 35000 for three extra classrooms plus heating and lavatories. The district board sent voters a letter explaining bid increases and plans for a larger gym to 2500 seating after future bleacher additions.

County Treasurer Lorietta J. Young reports 4 381 motor vehicle license plates issued through March 1. Monty Norheim Dies at 50 in Fairfield
Funeral services were held Tuesday at St Pauls for Erling Hjalmer Monty Norheim 50 of Fairfield who died Friday in a Great Falls hospital. He worked as an underwriter for Northwestern National Life Insurance Co. in the area. Norheim, born in Haugsund Norway, came to the United States in 1910 and lived in Milwaukee La Porte and Eau Claire before moving to Teton county in 1945. He married Mercedes Lucille Sept 16 1996 at Green Bay. Surviving are his wife two children Neil Martin 11 and Julienne Montana 7 brothers Sig Seattle Berger Fairfield Olaf Glasgow and sisters Betsy Crumley Shelby and Helen Gettel Power.

Victor Wiseman Victim of Fatal Heart Condition
Victor Wiseman dies of a heart attack found in his car five miles east of Fairfield. He had visited the Forsyths after dinner, returned to his car, then collapsed on the main road in snowy conditions. Wiseman, a World War I veteran, homesteaded near Chateau and is survived by siblings and a niece. military honors accompanied the funeral at First Methodist Church with burial in Chateau cemetery.
