Blackfoot Indians In Auto Wreck Near Town
A party of eleven Blackfeet Indians along with Superintendent Fred C. Campbell and Agricultural Instructor Mike Hannifan were in a serious auto wreck near Chateau on Sunday forenoon when a tire blew out and the car slid into a deep ditch. Injured were Oliver Sander ville and Tom Torn. they were taken to Choteau hospital and then Browning. The group continued to Wolf Creek to inspect a community hall and later stayed in Choteau. the list of travelers includes Charles Iron Brest Joseph Ironpipe John Calstail Peter Marceau Joel Bullshoe Arms Back Buffalo Body Joe Browne and Walter Magee.

Adams Oil Co to Erect Modern Service Station
The Adams Oil Company of this city plans a modern service station on the vacant lot beside the T. A. Smith store at Main avenue and Division street. L. R. Sutton of the Choteau garage will lease and operate the plant after completion. Work has begun to clear debris for a concrete basement. The station will include rest rooms, electric pumps, wash and greasing racks, and 1,000 watt flood lighting. Completion target is around June 1, with the project improving the town's appearance. Previously a wholesale liquor house was planned for the corner but the basement work did not progress.

Supreme Wheat Outperforms Marquis In Protein Tests
Experiments by Sam Kaas near Dutton show 6.8 acres of Supreme wheat yielding 46 bushels per acre versus 108.2 acres of Marquis at just under 40 bushels. Protein tests place Marquis between 12.30 and 12.85, averaging 12.60 to 12.65, while Supreme scored 12.20. Elmer Sprunger also tested Red Bobs and found Supreme superior in protein.

The fourth annual girls invitational will be held in Augusta with teams from Helena Cascade Simms Conrad Power Teton Augusta and Fort Shaw.
