The Teton County Recreation Council will hold its monthly meeting at the high school this Friday evening March 6. No meeting was held in February due to cold weather and bad roads. Bound Over to District Court on Two Second Degree Assault Allegations
Charley Marshall a former second hand store dealer in Chateau was arraigned Monday before Justice of the Peace J G Jackson on two counts both being second degree assaults. He pleaded not guilty but bound over to district court with bail set at 1000. He is held at the county jail. Complaints by Marshall's wife and Ed Powers of Bynum allege he beat her and drew a shotgun on him. Offenses said to have occurred last Sunday. Undersheriff T J Delno took him into custody at Bynum.

About 55 boys and 20 adults gathered near the Teton river bridge to drive rabbits for a county project led by Fred Willson. Firearms and dogs were banned as rabbits ducked into improvised snow fence wings, exposing the need for more manpower.

New Farm Program Gains President's Backing in U K Monday

Frozen fire plugs in city found at eleven hydrants
Fire hydrants in the city were tested and eleven were found frozen during the polar weather. Fire Chief J G Jackson supplied drivers with a list of frozen hydrants so no time is lost locating them in case of fire.
